The crazy heat wave that the UK is experiencing at present, is this down to Global warming. And if you think it is what ways do we need to reverse the effects????

they won't be saying this in years to come cause it gonna get alot worse ....so they best try and get this sorted now before its to late....
i can't stand the heat its unbearable...you stick to your clothes..your skin sticks to anything you sit on plus it makes you feel sweaty all the time.....
give me spring and Autumn any time

There is a heatwave in USA also. Everyone could help with the car you drive or the way you heat or cool your house. Even if CANNOT install solar power, you can shop for the most energy efficient appliance next time you need one. You are witnessing evolution in progress. It took a million years to move the earth into a different climate zone now it will take 10 more and everyone on the earth will be affected.

I don't remember the words "global warming" springing to mind during the hot summer of 1976, so I hardly think this hot spell is attributable to that. It's all down to wind direction in my opinion. A wind from the South-East at this time of year tugs up hot air from the Iberian peninsula and adds to the heat. If it's sunny and warm, but the wind is from the North-West, there is always a noticable difference. Maritime air is always cooler.
