One day I was at a grocery store and after I walked out I was walking to my car.I had alot on my mind that day I had a fight with one of my close friends. When I got to my car I started putting things into the car.I had a vision that the cart was drifting away and
when I looked back over to the cart I seen it moving towards a van.I got the cart before it hit the van. Was this a premoniton or just a coincidence?

Coincidence? Absolutely not. I might not call it a premonition, though. I think things of this manner happen all the time and we just don't notice it. There is a chance you might have physically seen the cart rolling but it had been subliminal so you hadn't thought you were really seeing it. But take this for example: have you ever suddenly thought of a song you hadn't heard in a loooonhg time and then it came on the radio? Or a person you hadn't thought about in years, and you suddenly run into them? I think all these things are connected, and many people would be able to sense them if they just opened their minds.

Like once, my best friend called me up and said she got new glasses. I said, "I know, you told me." She said "Nooo, I didn't, I just got them today." "Well then you must have told me you were going to get them." "No, I didn't even know until today." "What?? But I remember you telling me! They're blue, right?" "Yes, but how did you know???" Only when I thought about it, I realized I couldn't remember when she had told me... it could well have been a dream, but I definitely knew about those glasses.

[Edit] If you didn't catch that, I think we ALL have a sixth sense. Gift indeed!

You may have had a premonition, but I am pretty sure there were other cues going on that you just may not have been aware of. You had a lot on your mind...you may have been in thought and heard the cart begin to pull away as your inner mind was telling you what was about to occur, you look up and saw it about to happen. Our brain takes in a lot more that we imagine....it is possible that your brain saw the van, even though it did not register with your mind....See? A premonition usually occurs with some time before the incident. USUALLY. Then again, you may have a touch of psychic ability. Hard to say. Cool story though. Nana

A little of both! Im sure that the idea of the cart drifting was a subconscious autonomic nervous system (fight or flight) reaction. Even though you were using a small part of your brain for your thoughts on your friend, other parts of your brain work in tandem to recognize other things going on around you. If your brain has registered that this cart "may" be drifting away, the vision is a signal to react NOW!

This happens with me ALL the time... I don't believe they're premonition. However, after reading a few CIA and FBI books months before September 11, 2001 I was able to predict American being attacked. In this case it may have been a premonition. But it's hard to prove because a antagonist throughout history has ALWAYS been attacked....Thanks for hearing me!

I say consicdence. But if it happens a couple of times, you may have sixth sense or it may be premonition.
