I'm not planning to off myself, someone just told me that the world needed me.

You have no idea how many people are going to read what you write, so why not take the time to make sure your thoughts are clearly laid out. And use coherent abbreviations such as "don't" or "I've" not that stupid "ru" or "i like 2" bull. And for future reference, the letter "i" is always capatilized when by itself in a sentence.

I know this sounds gutless but basically this is the situation. My girlfriend and I used to date back in 2002-2003..although we were only 16 back then. There were issues with her own mental state, distance (we live about an hour or two apart) and the like and in the end I ended it - it seemed best at the time. I know that was gutless but I thought it'd help her too - she hated the distance. We were apart for over two years until last year, we talked again, a lot had changed and moved on - and we ended up back together. I knew it was going to happen - but my past has come back to bite me too...I hurt her one hell of a lot more than I ever even thought it would...and she did things in return to hurt me. I wanted to face it and work through it - so I'm going to see her this weekend. She's going to tell me all though said it will hurt, will be honest and will be a lot of things I just don't want to hear. I know it'll hurt but I have to face it -I just need some help building up the courage?

I have this question in mind for long time le. I'm a regular dreamer since i was young, so i believe that having dreams is very common.. Untill i got know a person who told me he hardly dreams! It sounds rediculous and unbelievable! I mean.. Humans should always have dreams.. How to not to dream? Without dreams, does it mean that he sleep very well every night?

If so, which one, what was it like, how long were you involved for, were there any unusual rituals and did you ever get to interact with the 'higher ups'?

This is a serious question, I'm very interested in the group dynamics and the collective unconcious of cults.

What if the whole world got together and used the technology we have now to just eliminate paper money. Every one just recieved a Debit card worldwide and people got money in units not dollars loaded onto their cards weekly. There would be 4 hour workdays. People would start getting job experience at 13 and retire at 50. Your money would be weighed by education and experience as it is now but on an entirely different level. There would be free education for all and free housing, water, heat, elec and phone service. People will be required to work because they will be contributing to society on a mass bases. Only people who are inventors, teachers, doctors, police, business men etc would have more than others according to their success, but, really money would be abundant to every one because those that we put in power could simply tell a computer how much everyone and every support system should have. Money would be immaterial.

I'm all for technology. I just feel we have enough gadgets and toys for a while. I think that with all that technology and engineering has given us in the material world, maybe put that type of effort and knowledge, skill and inventiveness ... into entities that rid us of mans true human misfortunes: Starvation, Disease, Lack of Ideological tollerance and so on.

I know there are many, who research many things ... but that only takes us as far as a Funded dollar will go. Researchers beg for more money to be able to "continue" but when the money's gone, research stops and a portion of humanity is left to suffer in some way.

Guess this is like saying, "Well, if they can put a man on the moon, why can't they ... ?!"

What I would like to know is at what point does proto-language (like basic sounds the way animals comunicate) actually become language. Is it the point when multi-syllabic words develop? Is it the point when grammar become important (like stringing together a noun and a verb?)
