Why is it some snakes give live birth and some snakes lay eggs? I just wondered if there is some sort of coincidences...for example...majority of the poisonous snakes has a "triangle" shaped head, while the majority of the nonpoisonous snake don't have "triangle" shaped head.

I have a grass road that goes around a pasture and for the past 3 days I have had a Raccoon sleeping in the middle of the path. It doesn't appear sick it just looks to be sleeping and is definitely breathing. No amount of noise will wake this thing up. I am concerned if I call animal control the animal will be killed but it is in an inconvenient location. Is this unusual behavior for a Raccoon? I want to move it without hurting it.
