Around 30 to 35 miles per hour for short distances:
When attacking they can jump 20 to 30 feet if not more. Seen Sasha jump on top of Aerostar van from across the driveway when coyotes were harassing her. That was when she was younger, not fully grown.

Cougar - can cover 100 mt. in 4.7 seconds (45mph) it can jump 18 feet high and it can jump a gap of 30 feet
