Why can't English people drive in snow, or even rain? It seems that whenever the weather here is any more abnormal than a light acid rain drizzle, everyone seems to lose all their abilities to drive and think in a semi coherent manner. Just like the tosser who hit my PARKED car this morning, virtually wrote it off and was kind enough to f*$k off without leaving any details!

I really dislike the BBC map which they use for their weather reports. It reminds me of the Sahara desert, plus the fact it rolls around like the deck of a ship. I much prefer the ITV equivalent. solid and reliable, and clearly decipherable

Climate change??? are we doomed to another ice age? Is it fast approaching? Do I have time to move to a warmer climate, away from the rising ocean? Are other parts of the world experiencing any strange weather?

The heaviest snow of the winter has hit large areas of the UK, closing schools and disrupting transport.

Luton, Stansted, Cardiff, Bristol and Birmingham airports have closed runways and train services have also been affected.

North America and Europe have been struck by some of the coldest weather of the year, getting as cold as -22C in Winnipeg and Chicago, and -31C in Helsinki.

Has your commute been affected? Have your children got the day off school? How well prepared was your local council for the bad weather? Has the snow brought you a day of fun or misery? What's the weather like on the other side of the Atlantic?

It has been a few days since our last snow. It is starting to look used and gross. Do you think we will get more snow in Michigan to cover the dirty snow? If so, when?

I dont want ACTUAL records, I want first hand info. It was up in the high eighties a few days ago, and all the records I am finding do not reflect this. So I just wanna know if it is usually much warmer in March than it is in January.
