I really dislike the BBC map which they use for their weather reports. It reminds me of the Sahara desert, plus the fact it rolls around like the deck of a ship. I much prefer the ITV equivalent. solid and reliable, and clearly decipherable

Don't like the colours of the BBC - whatever happened to our "green and pleasant land". Has the advantage of providing more info but takes a bit of getting used to. BBC format with ITV colours would be a good compromise.

The icons for cloud and rain are too large on the ITV weather maps, but i never grew fond of the newer BBC weather maps and so i muct admit the ITV ones are better.

i agree with what your saying about the bbc map i prefer ed when they use to stick those magnetic symbols on and they kept fallen of and they turned the boards around by hand but yes i prefer the itv maps
