I dont want ACTUAL records, I want first hand info. It was up in the high eighties a few days ago, and all the records I am finding do not reflect this. So I just wanna know if it is usually much warmer in March than it is in January.

Its usually pleasant in the 70's during the warm part of the day and in the 50's at night but it is very common to have spells in the 80's and even 90's. Here's how to think about winter in Southern California... its like a very long month of what May is like in the rest of the country. It is sweet!
