I was in Myrtle Beach when I saw a water spout over the water right on the beach where I was, SCARY, but it ended up not coming on land, but it was a very scary moment.

In 1985, when I was 11 years old, one passed by our house. I was living in Bradford, ON CANADA and a large tornado came north from Barrie and came over the hill behind our house, passing right by. It flipped our neighbour's trans-am over onto it's roof and threw a trailer from our other neighbour across the street over two houses and through another neighbour's enclosed balcony.

The thing I remember most was seeing the funnel cloud come over the hill, scary stuff. I did, however, make 25 cents apiece for returning fishing lures that were scattered around the neighbourhood, hanging in trees and such!

I LIVE IN COLOMBIA SOUTH AMERICA, AND I HAVE SEEN 1 TORNADO AND BEEN IN ONE TOO... IT'S A VERY SURREAL IMAGE, I THINK IT WAS AN STRONG F2 OR AN F3, I WAS HAVING LUNCH AND ALL SUDDEN THE SKY GOT ALL BLACK WITH A LOT OF THUNDERS, THEN IT CAME A HARD WIND WITH A LOUD SOUND LIKE A "TATATATATATATATATATATA", THEN I LOOKED TO MY BACK YARD AND I SAW MY 2 RETRIEVERS DODGING LARGE PIECES OF ROOF, THAN I WAS SURPRISED BECAUSE THE HOUSE WAS DARK, AND THE LIGHT WAS OUT, AND ALL SUDDEN I STARTED TO SEEN LIGHT INSIDE MY HOME, THEN I REALIZE THAT THE ROOF WAS NO LONGER THERE, A FEW SECONDS LATER ALL WAS CALM, I OPENED HE DOOR TO MY DOGS BUT THEY DIDN'T WANTED TO MOVE THEN THEY BEGAN TO BARK AGAIN AND I HEARD THE SAME SOUND, I CAME BACK IN AND PUT A MATTRESS IN MY HEAD AND I WASN'T ABLE TO SEE THE HOUSE ACROSS THE STREET, BECAUSE A SECOND TORNADO WAS COMING BY.

I THINK WE ALL GOT LUCKY BECAUSE THERE WAS ONLY ONE DEAD, AND IT WAS BECAUSE A HEART ATTACK, I THINK THAT ALL THE HOUSES IN MY CITY ARE MADE OF CONCRETE AND BRICKS, REALLY WELL BUILD, NO DRYWALLS OR ANY THING, BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT I STILL DREAM ABOUT THAT
