what would be the equation be for change in distance, using x for velocity initial, z for time, y for acceleration, and using units of meters and seconds? (as simplified as possible) I have a quiz tommorow, and I know the actual formula, and how to use it to find an answer with actual numbers, but the quiz is with variables instead

Thanks for the help!

Assume that the three blocks portrayed in Figure P4.27 move on a frictionless surface and that a F = 48 N force acts as shown on the m = 2.5 kg block. The acceleration is 8.72727272 m/s^2 and the tension of the cord is 26.1818.

I dont even know how to start this problem, thanks for the help.

what is the name of the effect were higher wind speeds have lower air pressures, like an airplane makes the air move faster on top of the wing and this creats lower air pressure to lift the aircraft.

What is the tension of the cord in this image?

Assume that the three blocks portrayed in Figure P4.27 move on a frictionless surface and that a F = 48 N force acts as shown on the m = 2.5 kg block.

I cant figure out how to get this...I got the acceleration of 8.727272 which is right. but I cant get the tension I take the acceleration add it to 9.8 and then multiply by the mass, I wasnt sure which mass to multiply it by to get the tension though because the problem has blocks on both ends, I think its just the blocks on the left right?

18.5272727272*3=55.58181818 N but the problem says its wrong...help?

The Earth has a mass of 5.98*10^24 kg, the Moon has a mass of 7.35*10^22 kg, and their center-to-center distance is 3.85*10^8 m. How far from the cneter of the Earth is the Earth-Moon center of mass? Is the Earth-Moon center of mass above or below the surface of the Earth? By what distance? (As the Earth and Moon orbit one another, their centers orbit about their common center of mass.)

i was sitting in science today and a thought struck me. if electrons have a wide orbit around a nucleus what is the space in between called/ made up of? it can't be made of any known compound because atoms are the smallest known particles and it's mostly empty space. is there a specific name for this? have any scientific properties been discovered with it such as friction?

if anyone knows i would greatly appreciate it if you could also supply a link to information regarding it.

btw only intelligent answers please. don't give me crap like "it's air!" only intelligent responses.
