This may sound strange, but I have developed this philosophy lately and instead of it being comforting as some may think it should be It is absolutely horrifying to me. The concept of "oneness" worries me terribly. I have been viewing the world this way recently but it is rather depressing to think of us all truly being one --- "god in different expressions"...what if God is simply the energy that existed in the beginning of existence (or always) and simply exploded into seperate expressions? See what I'm saying? I look around me, at my boyfriend, my family, friends, everyone and feel like it is all an illusion ...like everyone is really me, and I them ...and we are all truly one, just in different expressions. Then, I think...if we are all one ..we all must eventually lose each other and go back to one ....and that is a sad thought to me. LIke "God" is truly a very lonely concept...how could there be more than 1 beginning point to start at and go back to? See what I mean...

Okay, here's the situation: a large truck carrying chickens is passing through a weighing station. As the truck passes over the meter, the chickens all suddenly jump up and start flying around. Assuming that they have plenty of room to move about and that the truck is sealed tight, would the meter read more or less than the truck's real weight, or would it read the correct value?

I heard this one a while ago but never came up with a satisfactory answer.

I know Stephen Hawking, and the general Scientific community have decided the answer to this is no, but then, why is it that light is affected by gravity? i.e. a black hole. These are famous for sucking light into them, and yet, surely gravity could not do that unless the atoms it was exerting force upon, had mass?

I would not consider myself impressed much by or drawn to any one religion, however some of the evps I have recorded definitely make me believe in some other type of dimension. Check out my evps at www.evpvoices.com if you'd like and please let me know if you believe in other dimensions and explain why you do and what you believe they are like.

A simple solution is welcome. The shell will be at a fixed potential at all pts on its surface, I feel . Then how to reach the solution?
The charge particle is not at the centre and hence symmetry will not be available, but fields should be inside and outside the shell, I suppose. The distance of the ch is x from the centre of the shell x

I believe that something cannot be made from nothing only from particles smaller than itself. Isn't it more likely that Infinity is an ocean of particles too small for man to identify that come together to form larger and larger matter? I believe that a universe is like everything else in the universe and that it grows by taking in matter from outside.
