It is certainly possible to travel into the future, and has been proved using atomic clocks on the Apollo space missions. Travelling back into the future is a little harder. It may be possible to see the past, but not to be physically there in person.

I believe that we will only it wont be like you imagine.. Speed of light is a speed that will eventually be concurred. As this is the time measure when we beat it we will travel.. I have recently heard a really good explanation. A piece of paper is a two dimensional world. If you fold it over and stick a pin in through both pieces it pierces the same world in two different places at the same time. This would be said to be time travel as it can not be done because of the time it takes to get between the places.. So I guess it wont be the future or the past it will be now without travelling..

I believe that someone in a parallel universe or in our future has found the answer.I think the proof is Ghosts. They occasionally and accidently slip though the web that divides the two or more universes. The reason that we do not see people from our future is that for one, it has not happened yet, for us at any rate, and two, there is probably a so far misunderstood law of physics that will not allow us to see people or visions of the future. It would cause far more chaos than seeing into the past. Lets face it wouldn't you like to know the 6 winning numbers 4 tonight lottery.
I by the way can give you three of them.
4 26 + 37
When I do turn out to be right, text me and give me the 10 points.
Wouldn't that be spooky.!!!!!!!!!

IF it ever happens; going to the future would be simple but at the same time who or what ever goes to the future would instantly change that future just from going.
Going to the past is completely different.
Once again, ANY one or thing going to the past would instantly change the future of that past, therefor possibly stopping that person from even going thier in the first place.
There are also many many other way to think about it but way too many to post here.

The future can be done by going close to the speed of light, but this would take a lot of rocket fuel.
The past is more difficult and the paradoxes suggest its impossible (you could go back and change the world so you never existed). These could be got round if there are many universes to you could kill yourself in another universe but not the one you came from, so no paradox. However its still not clear how you could build a back in time machine

I don't know, but it could be wonderful or disasterous!
I would like to travel to the past to view what life was like first hand. However, I have seen enough time-travel movies to believe that it is easy to mess with the time line. LOL
The future would be neat to see (maybe) but with my luck I would end up in the middle of the destruction of the planet!
