Science and technology are there to adapt nature to human use by changing and making nature more productive. So science and technology definitely harm nature. But science and technology also maintain nature by developing ways of protecting it from natural changes happening through time. The wise thing to do any way is to use science and technology to maximize human benefit without damaging nature beyond its limits.

actually humans are destroyin nature the more humans there are the more room we need which means less trees and animal habitats the more humans the more chances of people making big buildings and creatin objects that will slowly destroy the world like cars we now have a hole in the ozone layer the more cars that release that gas the destroys the ozone layer are driven the bigger the whole gets which increases the chance of skin cancer from UV rays and the bigger the hole gets the more of the polar ice caps melt and if they all melt the sea level will rise above land and the more trees we destroy will increase the global warrming which is caused by all the carbon dioxide left in the air that the trees couldnt absorb because they are being cut down so since humans are the creator of science and technology we are natures enemy

Destruction of nature might be defined as removal of natural habitat, continued extinction of plant and animal species, pollution, burning and clear cutting of forests, and the clearing of space for human use.
We may blame destruction of nature more on over population of the human race than science and technology.
Although may facets of natural destruction are the result of technology gone bad. The use of chemicals which escape into our atmosphere such as freon causing ozone depletion and nuclear power plant accidents like Chernobyl are serious issues.
Nature is always in a state of change and is very adaptable. Human production of greenhouse gases from the burning of fossil fuels is releasing enormous amounts of carbon gases causing global warming and climate change. When climates change habitats change, and mankind is definitely accelerating these changes. The habitats are changing too rapidly for nature to keep up causing drastic risks to natural population levels and extinction of species.

Yes and no, all the pollutants, chemicals, cutting down of trees and plants destroys our world.... but we as humans use the knowledge to also help repair it.... in my opinion we are not doing enough good.... but we try.... but all the technology and science does affect nature by killing trees, killing animals, insects, plants, damaging our water systems, polluting the air, water, and soil.... but we also use science to help us repair the damage we do.... although that is just a small part of scientific endeavours.

I believe that we as humans are now using science to protect nature and to repair air. This is being done through processes such as bio remediation, restoration, etc.etc. Even though we have damaged the environment in the past, we are trying our best to repair that damage.

It may not answer your Q, but may be a closing statement for your debate.

Everything has its pros and cons. We have a choice to make - use science, technology and our life for destroying nature or nurturing it.
