Do you think it's possible that Prof. Hawking is not really that intelligent and he is fed all his information from some guy sitting at a PC all day long, i mean he hasn't invented any thing to make our lives easier at least einstein split the atom, who cares about a journey through space and time?

im an engineering student(4th year) but i still dont understand this.

i went to my backyard and found a whole egg. i live in a boxy addition.so no weird shaped back yard.

LOCATION: about 10 ft from the the back fence and halfway between my two side neighbors(approx 30 feet from each). on dry dirt(no grass established).

FENCE: 6ft tall, no holes or large gaps. gate is shut and locked.

If the universe was at one point infinitely dense and the matter and energy in this universe is finite does that mean my matter used to be one with everything in the universe?

OK, OK, I could not get even close to any help on my previous question, so I will explain my theory (and for the smart guy that states that without math, it is not a theory, look up the word in a dictionary!)

My 'concept' (there I took the word theory out) is similar to carrier waves and harmonics.
We already have used the idea of 'piggybacking' signals one upon another. secondarily, light waves, much in te same way that sound waves do, can generate harmonic and sympathetic vibrations. Think of it as a guitar being tuned. When one string is played and the other is being tuned to it, there comes a third vibration as the two are very close, but not, at the same frequency
This third sound is much stronger than the two individual sounds that combine to create it.

My FTL sustem would consist of a large tube, with coils that can produce and electromagnetic pulse to "ride" this harmonic/sympathetic wave.

I call it the 'light grapple'. and the theory has been used with sound waves.

For instance, if I fix a magnet to the under side of something metel, it will be held in place by the magnetic field. Over time the magnet must loose strength as it is doing work to hold the magnet in place. How long would it take for the magnet to loose enough power, so that it could no long hold it's up, and fall off?

When decelerating, during flight, from a fast cruise speed toward a slow approach speed, I notice that as the rate of decrease in speed constantly increases, the sensation is one of deceleration. But once the rate of deceleration is stabilized, constant, and unchanging, the sensation becomes one of hanging there presumably at a steady speed - there is no perception of deceleration (or even of speed for that matter) even though still decelerating. Even more deceptive, if slight control changes are made which cause a constantly decreasing rate of deceleration, the sensation becomes one of acceleration even though the aircraft is still decelerating (but at a decreasing change in the rate of the decreasing change of speed). Why is that?
