Can anyone tell me the difference between rads/rems/seiverts? What are their equivalents? RAD=Radiation Absorbed Dose/REM=Radiation Equiv. Man...Sv=international term for measuring radiation?? Any info would be helpful,thx.

i have everything needed!!!

Q1, the solar panel is 1.7 vott, but the battery is 1.4 vott. the battery can start a motor but the solar panel cannot!!

Assuming there is a quantum mechanical wave function for everything and anything, what would it look like for the probability of "physical" religious claims actually being true?

P.S. I am NOT religious, nor trying to be disrespectful of anyone's faith. And yes, I understand religious beliefs are matters of Faith and NOT Science. The question is NOT about the validity of Faith, but whether or not a wave function for a “physical” religious claim (e.g. that the Earth is only 5000 years old, etc.) CAN BE elaborated, and if so, has anyone actually attempted it? Would appreciate specific references. Thank You.

Another odd end of the world question. If some poor scientist happens to let some strange matter loose on our unsuspecting universe, how long do you think it would take to (whaddaya call it? devour? engulf? transform?) everything on earth into strange matter? Would it spread outward into the universe? Would this be the end of everything?

I dont think you change the equations because one can not constantly accelerate realistically. A small problem called the speed of light kind of messes things up. So I dont think you can just plug in the change in youre velocity in for V for the lorentz equation. If you have an equation f(x) and x always increases then f always increases for a given finite value of x, i know it doesnt sound right but it makes sense. Then as f approaches infinity... see it makes no sence. There is a constant time dialation and therefor there must be a constant v that is associated with a specific force from a gravitational field! How does one calculate this?

ok a magnet has two poles right north and south in all diagrams ive seen going back as far as maxwell there r always two seprate flows my question is simply why r they disected at intersection instead of simply folded kind of like the symbol for infinity the motion of the field follows the g r therory it should stay in motion that acts as one instead of two seprates like the earths axis

Let's say you have the following:

A 410 gram soccer ball is sitting on the ground. Someone comes running up and drills it at an angle of 35 degrees with a force of 49N.

I can infer that this object would have an initial vertical acceleration of 68.57 m/s^2. Is there any way to determine how high this ball would go, only knowing force applied, mass, and weight?
