I've been experiencing some strange behavior in my senses lately. All humans have ten senses, we know that. But usually those senses are all balanced. Whereas with me they seem incredibly unbalanced. My equilibroception (sense of balance), proprioception (body awareness) and hearing are all incredibly acute which is probably a result of my thermoception (sense of heat) and narcioception (pain) being almost entirely nonexistant. You know like how when one sense goes the others get stronger?

In addition, I also have the strange ability to pick up electronic fields, demonstrated by a sharp whistle I can hear in my head that actually makes me almost fall over in pain (though it does take a strong electronic field for this to happen). This seems to indicate that I have an 11th sense of electroperception, a sense that usually only fish have. I am guessing that this is not normal.

This isn't really a question I just needed to write this down and any SENSIBLE comments would be apprecated.

Outta curiousity, asymptotes are values that a curve approaches, but never meet the curve at those lines, but in curves like

f(x) = 1 + (x / x^2 +1)


they cross the asymptote heaps of times xD, why's that?

The horizontal asymptote is y= 1, and yet thats its axis intercept...

Is there a special case with horizontal asymptotes?

And can a curve cross its verticle asymptotes?

I guarentee there is some retarded curve out there xD But why can it cross, they aint meant to touch each! =S

I know the basics about an ecstasy pill. They usually have some type of design or color, and something stamped on them like letter. But one day i found a sack of probably about 20 pills, they were quite small and they were shaped in a triangle with a letter stamped on the ( don't remember the letter ). This will then increase the transmission of diseases such as * Eastern equine encephalitis * Japanese encephalitis* West Nile virus* Western equine encephalitis Dengue Fever Malaria Rift Valley Fever Yellow Fever and many others that im sure will start to pop up. and the warmer climates might even make more diseases pop up i mean we already have the The H5N1 virus is jumping species and it is mutating. On June 9 they killed 13,000 geese in Western China, It is only a matter of time before it begins to jump from human to human. were going to be looking at another pandemic like in 1918's influenza pandemic. so warmer conditions ideal environments for disease spreading and outbreaks, natural catastrophies like Tsunamies, earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, hurricanes ect.

energy come from? To give a non magnetic example, if I lift an object away from the Earth, I have stored up potential energy which I can release by letting it fall. In that case, the energy released by the falling object was originally provided by me when I lifted it. Now if I take two magnets, from two different sources (ie. I never pulled them apart) and lay them close enough together on a flat surface, when they get close enough they will of course move towards each other. So my question is, the where did that potential energy (which becomes kinetic energy as they move together) come from?

According to scholars of old Chinese folklore, these 2 days will be the coldest days of the Lunar Calendar year. This occurs in a cycle of 4 years and so far have been pretty accurate. Also a date for Ching Ming is always misty and a slight drizzle. Funny or eerie but I have found this to be true even though it was predicted hundreds of years ago. I am thinking of translating some of these writings into English because it also gives the dates for planting different crops as well as what days are best for marriages etc. As soon as I have the date of the hottest day in 2008, I will have it posted and see whether the predictions are accurate or not. I am not sure but I think they base their findings on astronomy and the moon had a lot to do with it.
