I know the basics about an ecstasy pill. They usually have some type of design or color, and something stamped on them like letter. But one day i found a sack of probably about 20 pills, they were quite small and they were shaped in a triangle with a letter stamped on the ( don't remember the letter ). Were these possibly ecstasy pills?

They may have been.

If you have access to an analytical chemistry laboratory, "real" ecstasy is 3,4 methylenedioxymethamphetamine and 100mg is a good dose. That's already enough information for a competent chemist to devise a synthesis, never mind an assay. But note that *any* ring- or branch-substituted phenylethylamine will be psychoactive at doses from 30mg to 300mg.

In some countries, ecstasy-testing kits are available in some rave clubs. In other countries, the Authorities would rather see you die than get high and such kits are banned. You could pay and send the stuff off for testing, but the lab might ask all sorts of awkward questions.

If your local police bother with having small quantities of drugs analysed, getting an "expendable volunteer" busted in possession of one or two pills might work -- the analysis will have to be read out in court, because it is relevant evidence.

Yes, it's totally possible, but without a chemical analyzing, or FT-IR scan, there's no way to actually know what they are. A tiny white pill with something stamped on the top could be virtually anything.

Stay away from it, that's my advice.

Don't get started on that X sh*t... it's not worth it.

Good luck.
