Is their such a thing as wright and wrong since wright and wrong to humans are just chemcial reactions in our brain? Does that mean that nothing really means what it is to us anyways?

Either way, if you have something painted black in pitch black (no light) then does the paint turn white because of nothing to reflect or absorb?

It's for a chemistry experiment. So far I've: -glycerol -mineral oil
They should be slow-moving, and very viscous, but not solid; they have to be liquid. Furthermore, I have to be able to pass a infrared laser sensor through the liquid without the sensor picking up the liquid as an object. Also, they can't be ridiculously hard to find substances, nor dangerous ones.

It seems to me that the most publicized scientific studies are worst in terms of good scientific procedures. I guess there's an obvious connection you can make there with the idea that pseudo-science is often going to be more interesting but what about all the people that actually believe some of this garbage without first questioning the method in which research was done, among other things? It seems I find at least 2 to 3 factors that aren't taken in the equation with a large majority of the recent studies and findings in the modern "scientist's" research methods. The general public also seems to place your average scientist's opinion like on par with a Catholic's opinion with the pope. I have always excelled in any science I've taken, so I guess it's easier for to look at them as peers...but I really think that's how we should all approach it; look at the approach, not the title of the person conducting it. Please tell me there's someone out there who can relate.

Final Exam

Some Professors are smarter than others!

At Duke University, there were four sophomores taking Organic Chemistry. They were doing so well on all the quizzes, midterms and lab, etc., that each had an “A” so far for the semester. These four friends were so confident that the weekend before finals, they decided to go up to the University of Virginia and party with some friends there. They had a great time, but after all the hearty partying; they slept all day Sunday and didn’t make it back to Duke until early Monday morning.

Rather than taking the final then, they decided to find their professor after the final and explain to him why they missed it. They explained that they had gone to UVA for the weekend with the plan to come back in time to study, but, unfortunately, they had a flat tire on the way back, didn’t have a spare, and couldn’t get help for a long time. As a result, they missed the final.

The professor thought it over and then agreed they could make up the final the following day. The guys were elated and relieved. They studied that night and went in the next day at the time the professor had told them. He placed them in separate rooms and handed each of them a test booklet, and told them to begin.

They looked at the first problem, worth five points. It was something simple about free radical formation. “Cool,” they thought at the same time, each one in his separate room, “this is going to be easy.” Each finished the problem and then turned the page.

On the second page was written: (For 95 points):

Which tire?

when lorraine kisses marty. she says that its like kissing her brother, but technically, she shouldnt feel that should she?

because the timeline in which her and george fall in love has been altered/erased, and the photo that marty carries is evidence of this.

so would she still feel that, "maternal", feeling?

I am looking for a spring/summer job, but I don't want a standard high school gig (e.g. waitress, cashier, etc.) I am interested in pursuing science and/or medicine in the future. Can you think of anything I could do?

I already thought about volunteering in a hospital, but from what I have heard, it is just pillow-fluffing and flower delivery. I want something more intellectually stimulating, and preferably with a salary. Any ideas are appreciated!

A coal piece when heated on ground it gives some heat energy .
When it is taken to a certain height its potential energy increases.
When it is heated at this position it should give more heat acc. to L.O.C .But it gives the same amt of heat energy as it gave on the ground.Where does this P.E go ?
