The way I remember it is this: Between boiling and freezing there are 180* farenheight (212-32=180) and 100* centigrade. 180/100=1.8, or 9/5.

So, first you need to equalize the 2 scales (subtract 32 from 95: 95-32=63). 63*5/9 = 315/9 = 35.

Easy, right?

The formula for converting farenheit (f) to Celcius (c) is c=5/9 ( f - 32) Say for example 14f, c= 5/9 ( 14 - 32) = 5/9 x ( -18 ) = 5 x ( -18 ) diveded by 9 = 5 x -2 = -10 so 14f is equal to -10C

all of the temperature conversions on this site are completely free for personal and commercial use. The accuracy and correctness of these calculators and tables is NOT guaranteed however- in short use it for your cooking but make sure that it is correct if you're administering a nuclear power station!

C=(F-32)/1.8. So C=(95-32)/1.8, You can calculate this yourself.
