People have been working on it and have achieved some success.

It's not fast enough to control a video game, but it is being used for people with physical disability to control movement.

they're working on it now. i don't remember the details but I remember reading an article about some dude using brain waves/thoughts to move something around on a screen. Some sort of game if i recall correctly.
