I had lost my razor about a week ago and searched my tub and bathroom near and far for it and it was no where in sight. Last night I scrubbed my bath tub befor I went to bed and this morning my missing razor was sitting in the tub.

How did that happen?

It was sitting precariously on some ledge, on the shower curtain rod, on the shower head or window sil. Basically someplace up high you *somehow* didn't check quite as thoroughly as you remember doing.

No one broke in, no you don't have gremlins, it was up high somewhere and overnight it just slipped from its lofty perch and fell into your bath tub. There can be no other explaination. As unlikely as it seems to you, somehow you missed it.

You just did. You're human and we humans do stuff like that all the time,.

What else

OK, laugh if you will -- but that's a sure sign of a gremlin.

I know -- I have one too. It's totally against ALL scientific possibility, but . . .

I search the house for my keys, strip the sofa, check under and behind all the cushions, put them back, leave the room -- and when I return, the keys are sitting in the middle of the sofa cushion.

I lived alone then too. It still happens. It isn't possible -- but it happens.

Perception is often a matter of what the brain expects to see as all visual data is processed by the brain. Knowing this we can understand how we often overlook things.
