do any of your actually believe that there is some sort of energy aroudn u that can affect electrical things e.g. computers, cd players etc. no matter which computer i go on it alwasy seems to freeze and shut down, and sometimes this happens if im just sitting near a computer, it happens with cd players, ipods etc too. dont get me wrong, you are probably thinking i just dont know how to work these things but i am very clued up on techonology but i just dont know what it is! ive read before that this can be due to a certain energy or field around me but could anyone explain it?

I am one of those odd balls that can fry electrical devices. I have noticed it for years but never said anything. It is worse when I am upset--lightbulbs will "pop" and go out, vcr will shut down, iron will overheat, etc. I can fry the battery in a watch in a few days, and even do the same with cordless phones. I can only use a cell phone for a few minutes before it heats up so much it actually starts to burn my ear.

A woman at work finally called me out on it. She would listen to her radio and all was fine until I got to work (I started 3 hours after her) and once I got to work her reception would go out and all her radio would would get is static. Sometimes the radio would play, but constantly hop channels. One time at work I was very stressed out and I went to my multi line desk phone to speak to a customer and the phone started squealing loudly and all the lights on it kept flashing.

It has now become the office joke. I have learned to stay away from electrical appliances when I am stressed out. I have lost many t.v.s, microwaves, and other small appliances during those times.

True story.

Hi, the signals that are sent around our bodies nervous system are tiny electrical impulses, now when you pass an electric current through a conductor, it will create a electromagnetic field, and this if large enough can effect electronic equipment. The level of this field will differ from person to person, and it could be that you produce a strong enough field to upset your PC. Another possibilty is this, we all retain static electricity, and we all retain it differently, now if your body has built up a large enough charge, then when you touch the keyboard, or the controls of something electronic, that charge is discharged to earth from you via whatever you've touched, and this could disrupt the normal working of it. Do you get static shocks when touching a car or doorknob ? Anyway enough of my ramblings, hope this has shed some light on what is happening.

Yes, I do think there is some sort of energy field (probably bio-electrical energy from the body) which can interfere with technology. I cite two sources:

1) I used to work with a guy who could never get mobile phone signal (it was a bit pointless him having a mobile, really). If he wanted to text someone, he'd write the text, hand the phone to me so I could send it!

2) I used to go out with a girl who could stop a watch simply by wearing it. OK, this wasn't immediate but within a week or so the watch would stop.

Last year I went to job training and one of my colleagues said the same thing. May be you can try to find out how this can be increased and decreased. So that you can use it for the good of mankind. i am no joking!

Strange things can happen. It is kind of static that is the energy around u. Yes it cud affect ur relationship around electronics. But i do not know much abt what u can do to avoid it.

Well there's been quite a few scientific explanations as to why this can happen. I have one of my own...it's called s*ds law!
