I need 300 words to describe the terms independant an dependant variables. I have this so far:
The terms Independent and dependent variable are used in scientific experiments (But they are also used in maths equations). The independent variable (also known as the predictor or manipulated variable), is the variable which is changed or manipulated so that its effect on the dependant variable can be seen, the independent variable is the one you have some control over. The dependant variable is the variable that changes depending on the independent variable. The variable you are trying to predict is the dependant variable. The variable you use to determine these variables in the independent variable.

What else could I add? You help woul dbe much appreciated :)

If Daylight Savings time was moved earlier for productivity/expense reasons, aren't we just turing on the heat an hour earlier before the sun comes up? This seems wasteful to me, not beneficial. Why was it moved earlier?

So called "scientists" have kept pushing the lie that Human developed from monkeys, and have kept floating an excessive age of the earth, namely 4.7 billion (ha!) years. Given that no concrete evidence supports this, why have these quack experts continued to enjoy any further credibility at all? And, why is this nonsense being taught in our schools, while the bible is banned?

Has Science failed to remain funny during this last half a century or has the jokes become too complex? The string theory one was alright, but nothing like the good old days when scientists played with lead and believe dogs and cats could be related.. that was some funny junk.
