Aren't graphs supposed to go to "even" numbers; like for instance, the 5th graph at http://ifamericansknew.org/ "UN Resolutions Targeting Israel and the Palestinians" the graph numbers only go up to 70. Whereas if it went up to 100, the Israeli/Palestinian margin would maybe look slightly less one-sided.

I know this is a stupid question but I'm not good at physics. If energy of a wave is only dependent on its frequency, and not amplitude, does this mean low volume sound and high volume sound have the same energy if their frequencies are the same? But doesn't this violate common sense?

Ok. I know that to be a mineral it must be inorganic (not coming from a living thing).

BUT heres where I'm confused - don't diamonds come from coal which is not a mineral because it came from the remains of plants long ago. SO - how can diamonds be a mineral if they come from something organic??

Can someone explain please?

He is doing a rock tumbling experiment. We had purchased this for X-mas. He has always had this fascination with rocks and so when the science fair came up, wanted to give it a try. I think and think about it but I get as far as "How Rocks Transforms or From Rocks To"....then I think it doesn't sound right. He is only in the second grade ..I know... he is actually doing all the work but I would like a great title for the poster board thanks everyone who can help! :)
