im doing a science fair and i need help plzz helppp!! my question is how does different clothing absorb Uv light? what do i haev to do..any ideas..please help thank u so much

You might consider changing the topic to comparing the amount of ultraviolet light that can get through different kinds of fabric. There are some cool ultraviolet detection beads that change colors in ultraviolet light. You could put these beads under different kinds of cloth to see the degree of color change in the beads. However, this compares how much UV light is TRANSMITTED by different fabrics instead of how much UV light is absorbed.

You can get the beads at Jeffrey Alan stores or on the Internet. Search for UV detection beads, ultraviolet detection beads, etc.
They are the size of pony beads and come in different colors.
