If the white blood cells does not function properly then we may loose our some what immunity to the diseases. The WBC prevents the harmful microbes from causing any adverse affect or any diseases in our body. These WBC do not have a proper shape like the red blood cells and are irregular in shape and are nucleated. Also they are known as leucocytes or the white blood corpuscles.

I am a doctor and by actually having a cold your white blood cell count will have increased; a bit of exercise will relieve the symptoms of your cold further based on some new evidence that has come out. After recovering from a cold completely your white blood cells will be "stronger" than before. Although I recommend high amounts of broccoli every day!! This could even send your lymphoma into repression as your body will fight it back as some new studies have shown. Hope I've helped Best of Luck!!
