The Chicago Bears score 18 points in a football game. In how many different ways can the Bears score these points? Points are scored as follows: A safety is 2 points, a field goal is 3 points and a touchdown is 6 points. After a touchdown is scored, the team may get 1 extra point for a kick, 2 extra points for a 2 point conversion or 0 points if they fail either of the above. If possible, please show your work and enjoy!

*Hint: Combine the conversion points to make the problem easier.

Dogs with cybernetic enhancements allowing them to ave self-awareness and intelligent thoughts: the technology to enchance human consciousness and awareness is coming. Applied to animals, along with a dose of genetic engineering and we may soon not be the sole intelligent species on this planet. A new set of self-directed, sentient beings may forge their destinies by our side. Canines, mankinds most loyal and trusted symbiotic companions, are a logical choice for this. Phantom 2040AD portrayed this 20 years ago in a science fiction cartoon on during Saturday mornings. So, how about it? Want a sentient dog?

Can you give me an example of a number solidly representing something, in more occurances that to negate the probability of it?

What I'm getting at is are there 'powerful' numbers (with lots of use and importance) and 'weak' numbers (with relative less importance and use).

Most importantly, why??

Sorry to confuse you, I couldn't think of a better way to word this.

For the 873 people put to death from the time the death penalty was reinstated in 1977 until sept 2003, find the probability that (i) they were all truly guilty, (ii) at least one of them was actually innocent.

I'm looking for information on how to go about solving this problem, and perhaps the final answer so that I am able to work through it myself. Thanks!
