For the 873 people put to death from the time the death penalty was reinstated in 1977 until sept 2003, find the probability that (i) they were all truly guilty, (ii) at least one of them was actually innocent.

I'm looking for information on how to go about solving this problem, and perhaps the final answer so that I am able to work through it myself. Thanks!

The two are complements of each other, (added they equal one)
0.99 raised to the 873 power (1.547 x 10-4) or 0.0001547 is the probability that they are all guilty.
The complement is 0.9998453 that at least one is innocent.
