A fact is a fact whether its known, undiscovered, disagreed with, misinterpreted or forgotten. If something is thought of as fact turns out to be untrue, then it was either never a fact to begin with or is again misunderstood or disagreed with.
Statement of fact is usually nothing more than a strong opinion based on available yet incomplete information. It can be close quite often, but rarely is it complete.

A fact is something that is true/real...there is no denying it! A fact is backed by solid evidence. And a fact will continue to appear in almost everything that we do unless it is proved wrong for some reason. If a 'fact' is proved wrong then it is not a fact anymore, and it never was, it was just really a wrong illusion. So, really, what I am getting at is that FACTS, REAL FACTS will never disappear.

Yes. As things evolve and change things that were facts are no longer facts now. For example in 1960 it was a fact that the compact disk didn't exist. That is no longer a fact. At one time it was a fact that my mother only had one child, then she had more so that wasn't a fact anymore.

NO because when facts happen if they are important enough someone will right them down then they go into history so they never disappear.

They can be forgotten, or they can stop being regarded as "facts".
That's the closest they would come to "disappearing".
