can finite element method be used to solve problems with multiple dimensions if we know the properties of each element such as the strain and stress relationships of each element to each other and the fluid and electromegatic flows in and out each elements by what comes in must go out principle? i can see that FEM would have applications from architecture, virtual reality (computer art) to structural, mechanical and electrical engineering and even medical imaging applications (things which we can see and can't see)?

if a capacitor was charged to 345v and has 1.4 farads, how many amps can be drawn at peak?
i'm not sure if that makes sense, but i want to know how many amps i can draw at most, when it first starts to discharge.

i need help on doing cathode protection on nails.can i use electrical wires and attach the positive and nagative sides of a 9 volt battery to two nails?please i need an answer asap.its part of a project where im going to see which is the best way to stop rusting and i was wondering if that will work properly and not cause corrosion instead of protecting the nail from rust?

What are the limits to the standard body armor for the military when it comes to withstanding gunfire? Just out of curiousity.

When making a motor/transformer, does it matter if you cross the wires while winding the magnet wire? For example, can you wind the wire up and then wind it back down or would this cancel out the magnetism?

Is anyone working on solving loss of tail rotor function from RPG's as seen in the movie "Black Hawk Down"? I've wondered this for many years, whether or not it's possible to design a system whereby tail rotor loss of function could be minimized by some kind of emergency jet propulsion in the tail section to produce the necessary thrust for safe control of the helicopter or by directing engine exhaust in a sidewards manner much like an engine reverse thruster to minimize or eliminate torque thrust. I'm also wondering why the military does not employ the NOTAR system in combat zone helicopters to mitigate being brought down by RPG's. Any helicopter engineers or pilots wish to comment?

I am receiving a video-based laser return via an APD and need to take the AC referenced signal and reference it to DC so I can add the sync. I have not been successful, so far. It still goes below 0v and gets into my sync signals.

Any ideas?

This is a science experiment ive been so crazy about lately! i can't get it right!!!!
okay. My point here is to see which energy sources produce the highest voltage.

im using a 3 volt battery, a dc generator, a voltaic cell[vinegar], and the human body[static] .

problems are: can you make a simple generator? i just want something using electromagnetism to light up a lightbulb! and how can i measure the voltage produced by the human body[static]?
[also for the body one, is there another way to light up a lightbubl using static?]

please, tell me where to place the voltmeter and with specific directions on how to measure everything/
and also tell me personnally what you think of this project.

Please refer to where electrons are and where they are transferred to ... and how.
I know that with a cell/ battery electrons accumulate at the negative terminal and travel to the positive terminal.
Are some lost to the wire- as heat and light. I thought there were free electrons in the wires... do these move and if so why? Soooo confused.

Hello,

We have an electric motor in a circuit and up to 2000rpm the circuit works very well, but if we increase the speed of the motor to more than 2000rpm, the circuit becomes instable just like for over 2000rpm the motor generates a noise or interference with the rest of the circuit.

Is there anyway to get the motor running at higher speeds and avoid these noises/interferences?

Thanks
