Is there any way to solder together more than two wires in a single join such that the join is watertight?

There is a product called "Liquid Electrical Tape". Solder your joints then paint this on to the exposed connectors and allow it to dry.

Your question doesn't list much specificity, so I will speak in generalities. Wire joins are watertight if the finished join blocks moisture in liquid or vapor form from entering the join and contributing to failure of the join. generally the wires are twisted into a tight cylinder and fluxed, heated and saturated with solder using an iron or a solder pot and dipping, the voids between the wires must be completely filled! A process similar to tinning stranded wire ends before forming and attaching.
