Another video problem.?

Question

I am receiving a video-based laser return via an APD and need to take the AC referenced signal and reference it to DC so I can add the sync. I have not been successful, so far. It still goes below 0v and gets into my sync signals.

Any ideas?

Could you use an isolation transformer then reference one terminal of the secondary to a positive DC?
