The resulting stator force will be transmitted as a torque to the drive shaft.

Yes! Anything that uses electrical power creates current that produces electromagnetic field that opposes the generator's rotation. The governor on the engine automatically increases fuel to maintain constant speed.

Yes !!!! Because the more power being generated by the genset, the more fuel it will consume. To generate power, the genset has to increase its RPM and therefore it will comsume more fuel.
