Can anyone tell me what these are and how they are done? Or know a good site that has all this info? Hazardous waste landfill, waste treatment plant, deep-injection well, and incinerator.

Something that is lightweight and pressure resistant. I have already tried pvc and it was to heavy. I thought about using a fluoresent tube cover because it is lightweight but will it be able to hold enough pressure. 150-200 psi

My tank is 30" diameter, and 90"' long. I know that it holds 275 gal. but what I would like to do is make a stick with markings on it that would indicate 25, 50, 75, etc. . Obviously the numbers would be further apart on both ends, but by how much. Thanks.

The setup: the bracket is a right triangle mounted perpendicular to a wall so that one leg (AB) is against the wall, one leg (BC) extends out from wall (these form 90degree angle) and hypotenuse (CA) is in compression (extending down and back to the bottom of leg AB) when a downward point load (1000lb.) is applied to point C. Points A and B are fixed to the wall with mechanical connectors. Legs AB and BC are equal length (2 feet). Assume frame and connectors are of adequate strength. Questions: What is the required shear strength of connectors at A and B? What is the pullout resistance or tension on connector at B? What is the compressive force on member BC?

I want to modify one of the electrical circuits in my house to run on a battery backup. To do this I want to break the circuit between the breaker box and the first outlet on the circuit and install onto the cut ends a standard outlet and plug. Into the outlet (leading back to the breaker box) I'd attach a large, true-sine output UPS. Into the UPS's battery-backed outlet I'd attache the plug (leading to the outlets and one overhead light). The UPS is rated for the full 20 amp load provided by the circut.

I know that this will work, but I am concerned about electrical code requirements. I realize this varies by locality (I'm in Omaha Nebraska), but I want to know if this is plan can possibly pass requirements.

I am trying to make this machine that I designed during the summer but am having trouble finding tiny wheels for it. the wheels would have to be 3/4in-2in in diameter and would prefer to have them made out of some sort of composite kind of like rollerblade wheels. I really like WM Berg for their gears and everything, but they don't have any wheels. If anyone knows of a company, preferably with a website, that sells a wide variety of tiny wheels please let me know.
