I am going to finish mymasters in Electrical Engineering in May. The thing is I don't have much expereince except for a one summer internship and most likely won't be hired there....another reason.
I see all the adds in Dice.com..and they are all looking for some years of expereince. Is there any ways I can get an entry level job somewhere in the electronics engineering area?...I prefer something like embedded but not that picky right now...Just want to land somewhere right after school.

For example, if the rails are 2 feet long, and the projectile is 1/4 in. wide by 4 in. long.
How many KW are needed to shoot the projectile and not get welded to the rails?
How many KW per X meters per second?
These and other design questions need to be answered.

In hydropower, the potential energy as a function of head and discharge is converted to kinetic energy that moves the runner of a turbine. Now for the same head and discharge can we increase the velocity of water by any means to increase the Kinetic energy that moves the runner. Say by using a helical shaped penstock with teflon coating to increase the velocity of free falling/dropping water, coming out at the nozzle that hits the runner? My idea is for efficient conversion of potential energy to kinetic energy, like the rifling inside the barrel of a rifle is a efficient use of conversion of energy in comparison to guns with no rifling in the barrel.
Part of the potential energy consumed in overcoming frictional losses through the water conductor system (power channel or HRT and penstock etc.) can be reduced by better designs and employing material to decrease frictional forces. Is there any R&D work on these lines, particularly on the design of water conductor system and reduction of energy losses by employing new materials like teflon etc.

Hi
We are a petrochemical manufacturing facility. While analyzing the 2006 incidents, it occurred that Near miss reporting has reduced by around 100%. It is around 0.8 per company employee as compared to 1.5 per employee in 2005. We need to see our education needs based on the analysis.

I am doing a project for my EE100 class. What I want to do is build a kit car and instead of using AA batteries would it be possible to use solar cells. I have two cells one at 1V and the other one at 2V. wich in series is 3V. That is the equivelent to 2 AA batteries. Or could I use rechargeable batteries and have the solar cells charge them without ever having to remove them from the car. I intend to mount the solar cells on the kit car and wire them into the battery holder. is this even possible?
