We use "technology" almost every minute of the day!
Just in the first 10 minutes I'm awake each day, I: turn off my alarm clock, brew coffee, check my Caller ID to see if I've missed any early morning calls, turn my thermostat up 1 or 2 degrees, fire up my laptop and connect to the Internet to read e-mail and check morning news headlines. That's just in the first 10 minutes!

Technology has a lot of influence on peoples lives. People have changed during last 200 years, now they depend on technology. If there wasnt any technology, you woud not have been able to have this question over the internet.
