Making instrument?

Hey, I have an assignment where I have to make my own instrument, it cannot be an instrument that has been made already; and it cannot be any form of drum. And I can use any materials I want. Thanks.

Oh You mean musical instrument. Take a straw, pinch the bottom. Blow into it as you would a flute, while you move your pinched fingers up and down the straw. You have just made a slide whistle.
