im making a leyden jar capacitor but i have to make a question/purpose? i have no idea what my question would be or my purpose. If you can think of anything it would be much appreciated. Thnx

Detection of nuclear radiation. The principle of the Leyden jar is actually used in some types of nuclear radiation. It has to do with ionizing the air in the tube and causing the the plates to lose their charge. The closer the plates come together after having been charged, the greater the amount of radiation the device, and user, have been exposed to.
