I have a building with an elevator, I have been told that it needs a Shunt Trip wired through a Heat Detector to deactivate the Elevator.

All I can tell you is, the Elevator is 60A 220V, so have been told that is what my shunt unit should disconnect, but how do I wire the incoming power? The Heat detectors that we used elsewhere in the building are 24v wired from a Class B wiring, using single pair wiring, and E.O.L resistors. Can I use power from my Fire Alarm Panel, or do I have to use a different Heat Detector, what do I need to do, and how do I wire it?

I've seen an explanation that the engine pushes against the exhaust and that's what creates resistance for propulsion. I can't see that, as the exhaust in the void and again provides no resistance.

Can anyone explain this?

I just had the best freaking idea any inventor has ever had through all of time. People say they have psychokinetic powers, the ability to move and change things with their minds. I have seen no evidence of this, but maybe it's a quality only shy people have. So, my idea for an invention is gloves that will allow the wearer to grab things from a distance, up to 50,000 pounds, and move them without touching them, or push multiple things away with a kinetic field of energy, and maybe other functions if I can think of any. However, making these will be a problem. I'm not asking for money, I'm asking if I should use electromagnetic pulses to move things or if I should try and develop a new energy type and use that. Any ideas will be widely appreciated.

I walked into a hundred or so year old church the other day, and beside from being beautiful on all accounts, i saw series of pipes displayed all around the church, in the tops of the walls to the left and right of the main seating area, in walls of seperate sections, and most surprisignly the mean organ device appeared to be all the way opposite these pipes over the entrance door, where another plethora of pipes were placed. This raised many questions: First, how does an organ work, Second, most of the pipes looked the same height, how do they play different notes, Third, the pipes seemed to run through solid rock columns and walls, how had they not been crushed and put out of tune by pressure, and Fourth, if one of the pipes did break, how could you possibly service or repair that if it exists within those hard and mastercrafted walls.

Imagine if this were possible- we could simply through our garbage and even nuclear waste into space, provided we give them enough of a push so that they don't keep orbiting.

Can such a building be built though? How high would it need to be, and how wide might it need to be at its base?

This would be better than the silly rockets, wouldn't it?

Since I dont have an induction coil of such a large power output similar to a MOT, I wondered if I could use the latter with a pulsed DC input.

Any help as in regards to the pulse generator or relay etc would be of much help.

Thank you in advance!
