I am a diploma holder in mech. engg. and would like to do BE/BTech through distance learning. Please inform me the AICTE/UGC approved university/collage. who conduct the same cources in India. Please informe me.

BE or Btech can not be done from distance course. You can try AMIE or if you are working in india, you can do part time (evening)course in BE (i do not know about Btech) which is offering by some universities.
AMIE is equal to BE and it is same tough as BE.

I don't think any UGC approved university in India provides distant B.Tech Course..

I don't think so. Did you go to a real university or college? If you didn't, you need to apply and see where you stand.

AMIE will be the cheap and best option. U can also do it along with your job.
