Well, I'm an Architectural engineer, so I can definitely say yes.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering, and I am a liscensed Professional Engineer (P.E.). I studied at Drexel University in Philadelphia. The wikipedia link I provided has a list of other A/E programs.
I design HVAC, plumbing, power, lighting, and life safety systems for commercial buildings.
In general Architectural engineering is a sort of hybrid degree, with elements from Mechanical (air conditioning and pumps, not engines) and Electrical (circuits and lighting, not electronics) engineering disciplines that are specific to building design.
Good luck getting into an AE program....

I am a Civil Engineer with a degree in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Also Penn State has a degree in Arch. E.
Most people just get a degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Architecture and then specialize in Structures.
It's a great profession.
