You never know. When IBM developed the first personal computer, they assumed it would only be used by colleges and research institutes. They planned on a total quantity to fit all demand to be around 2000. Look what happened. GPS navigation and cell phones were assumed to be novelty items for the rich and famous. The next great invention will be something unique that people find useful and is a reasonable cost.

Unless someone comes with something greater in the interim, I would say a computer as smart and creative as human beings are. Since you can always increase te power of a computer by adding faster processors, or more of them, then this machine will be smarter than humans very quickly thereafter, and will start inventing everything else very quickly.
