Also, how does the load of a multi-meter (voltmeter) affect the resultant voltage across two resistors in series in a simple circuit. What would be the affect of a load resistance on the voltage divider ( the two resistors in series) performance.

OH COME ON! If you think you're so smart -- why don't you FINISH your homework on your own?!?!?

Examples: What the difference between a random error, and a systematic error?

Sounds like a homework assignment question to me!

I will graduate with a degree in engineering, the problem is that I did not do any interships and don't have any work experience. Also my academic performance is not the best.
I would appreciate any advice.

Half of the gear would be a very light plastic and the other half would be a very dense metal.

Is this possible ? The "dentures", dents of the gear would have to fit nicely. Quite difficult actually.

In the middle of a dark night, a team of 4 somewhat injured commandoes are on their way back from a tough mission. To complete their return, they have to cross a narrow, dangerous and collapsing bridge. The leader of the team makes some quick estimates:

The bridge would collapse completely in 17 minutes
Due to the injuries, each member would take a different time to cross the bridge. The time for the different members to cross the bridge are 10 min, 5 min, 2 min and 1 min respectively.
Due to the dangers involved, at most two members can travel across the bridge at a time
Moreover, they have only one working flashlight, which means that the flashlight must be carried back for the next pair to cross the bridge

Can they all make it across in time? If so, then how?

And when i say small, i mean half the size of my hand. Do they even make them like that? I don't know. I'm certainly no expert on the subject. But i've got a great idea and need to find one that size. It doesn't need to be very powerful. To give you an idea, way more powerful than ones in toys, but not near as powerful as the ones in fans.
