Yeah, it will cost them in the long run, but not too many people think of the long run these days, so children are not taught that as a value. It's not fair to call them idiots, their mistake is more a matter of values than intellect.

true, some persons may ask (and do ask) homework questions...
if possible, some helping hands would come to their aid... but they cannot go far in this....
and asking and getting answers is a motivation for serious kids....as well as lazy ones... or ones that have real difficulty... without judging them, answerers respond hoping at least a small help could be extended, without much of a toil...
homework, per se, is not wrong... it cannot become routine... but it does help some.... that is the good point....

some are lazy, some have come this far by skating, some are just confused and do indeed need a hand to understand, some just need it answered because they procrastinated. they just dont do their homework because there are too many distractions. like computers.
