Welding is joining steel using extreme heat and steel filler. Soldering is joining using a mixture of lead and tin at lower heat. Brazing is joining brass or bronze using a similar filler material (copper, tin) and a flame to heat it.

Brazing is almost a similar process as soldering. A filler metal ( generally non-ferrous ) is brought to melting point and is poured at the joining section of two iron or steel parts where it solidifies making the joint.

A difference of base metal , and method of fusion. But they are all forms of joining .
