"BIG BANG THEORY" is one of the largely accepted probability for the birth of our universe. But what would have been the situation before the big bang took place?

What substance/what matter was there which eventually caused "big bang"?

If there was anything then, how long was it there ?

While the builder was excavating our basement he uncovered some granite boulders with veins of quartz. When I washed off the boulders to use in landscaping I can see what appears to be gold in and around the quartz vein. Some of the gold is as large as my thumbnail. We live in an area of GA that is famous for the first gold strike in the United States. The boulders are quite heavy and are mostly granite.

I've been planting an Indian tree on a certain area in our front yard. But everytime the height of the tree reaches 5 meters and its principal root reaches I guess 4 or 5 meters, too, the tree would then start to turn into brown in color and totally dies. I wonder what is wrong or what is beneath that no plant could grow in that certain area? According to a contributor, it might be because of high watertable and salinity. If that would be the case, I wonder why the other two trees of same length 1 meter away from it did not die. Please help. I can't find sites that could give me exact answers. Thank you.

My daughter and I found this stone on our beach on the shores of Lake Erie outside of Buffalo, NY. It is a smooth stone with multiple round "divots" in its surface. These 'divots' are perfect and smooth. I have included these pictures for reference. Please help us solve the mystery of this rock. What caused this? Is it common? My three year-old is asking me questions and I would like to give her some answers. Thank you!!!!

think about it...our hair never stops growing...we eventually have to cut it...but everything else has a hair ceiling...like a polar bear...its hair is ALWAYS one size...never bigger never smaller..if u were to cut a patch off it would grow back to the same size as it was...and stop growing...Why do humans hair continue to grow and other creatures hair dont?
