An astrologer has suggested that I should wear a ring of unheated yellow sapphaire of about 7 ct. Where can I find an authentic yelloe sapphire and approximately how much would it cost? Thanks.

A local pawnshop will have an inexpensive, albeit limited selection of jewlery. another good source is the internet but steer clear of shady sites and choose mainstream ones like ebay, amazon and others. I would estimate a price in the $1400's

Your astrologer knows nothing about gem stones. Sapphire is a variety of corundum (Al2O3) that is deep blue. If it were deep red it would be called ruby. I'm not sure what the yellow variety of corundum is called, but it definitely is not called sapphire.
