I have a Quartz watch that will run and stop. What is the problem?

i've had this watch about 10 years. i have a cheaper one that i've had about 20 yrs and it still runs.

Low battery?

The battery may not be making good contact or sometimes if the watch is too tight or too loose, the case bends slightly and separates the battery from its contact points.
