Well, There are so many plants, trees. Humans do eat many of them, but they don’t eat many of them too, many of them could have effects and nutrition that you cannot imagine.

How do you know if a Plant is Edible, without gambling with your life? It could be Poisonous. Like berries, there are hundred of berries. How do you know which once you can eat and which you cannot? As a rule of thumb, the White Berries are supposed to be Poisonous. Also Mushrooms, there are so many kinds of wild Mushrooms. But how do you know which are good to eat. Some Mushrooms can cause certain Liver failure in a few hours.

Well maybe the berries that Birds & Animals eat are not poisonous. But someone said that what Goats can digest, human couldn’t. Like Grass, Goats can eat it and live, but Humans?

Which animal has the closest metabolism of a Human? Someone said it’s a Pig. Are pig’s omnivorous?

So, how can you find out if a Plant or herb is edible. How does a Botanist classify Poison or Poissons
