A few questions -

firstly what's their appetite like, and would having venus flytraps attract more flies than they can consume?

can they survive in a window box during a british summer if brought inside for the winter?

how long do they last, and are they easy to maintain? - I have no plant keeping experience.

I grew up in Jacksonville, FL at my grandmother's house. She had a beautiful shade tree in her front yard that had fruit (not edible) which resembled big, green balls white a milky, white sap in them. She always called it a Sage Orange tree but I haven't been able to find anything online about them... My husband said it sounds like a tree that's pretty common up north where he's from... any ideas what it is? THANKS!

I noticed once where he said to be an oncologist, and another were he claimed to be a botanist so I looked at his answers.

This guy also claimed he is zoologist, mycologist, astorliger, astronmer, entomologist, zoologist, as well as botanist and oncologist.

Is this guy just making up, or he the most educated man on planet?

OK, first of all, I live in Northwest Montana. Not sure if that will help, but maybe, if the tree I am thinking of only grows in certain areas. I absolutely love the fragrance this tree puts out when it blooms each year (always right about now; mid-June), but I have never been very near to one. I have just smelled them when I drive by people's yards and there is a tree growing there. This tree doesn't get too big, even when full grown. Bigger than an apple tree, but not as big as an oak. It has very distinctive silvery-green leaves, longer than they are wide. It has dark-ish bark. When it blooms, it has a pervasive, sweet odor. I have been told that it may be a Russian Olive tree, does this sound right?
